Beef with mushroom pizza ..emmm.. My kids really love pizza. This time I used hunt's paste to fry cornbeef with chilli sauce. After the beef sauce become thick then I added sliced of mushroom and bombay onion. I cooked them within 1 minute then spread the beef sauce on top of the pizza base. I bought it from Supasave which cost only Br2.50 each. Lastly I spread some grated cheese on top of it. Heat it in the oven for 15 t0 20 minutes with 160 to 180 degree Celsius.

Its easy and save money too. When you order from Pizza Hut, for one large Pizza it will cost you around BR30. Happy trying.

Sacrificial meat

Alhamdulillah....3 cows were sacrificed yesterday by 21 of my relatives including me in conjunction with the 1431 Hijrah Hari Raya Aidiladha celebration. The cows were slaughtered at the Mulaut Abbator in the morning after the Aidiladha prayer and then were brought to my relative's house to prepare the meat for distribution to eligible persons. The give away of sacrificial meat finished before 6 p.m. This was the most exciting moment I will remember in my life.

3rd place...!!! Alhamdulillah

I can't believe I won the third place in the cooking competition which was organised by Bakti Agong Association. At first place I didn't want to join the competition since I was not confident and not ready yet. The competition must have at least 2 participants from each Unit of Bakti to join the cooking competition. Since there was only one person joined in our Unit so I was chosen to try my luck.

Before the competition started, there was demo on preparation of healthy food by ex-Hyatt Chef. Then the competition started by group A category - 10 VIP participants and then followed by group B. I was in group B with 9 others participants. We were provided with variety of fruits and vegetables, bottles of yogurt, mayonnaise, olive oil, honey, basal dry leaves, salt and skim milk. It seemed to look easy for me but I didn't know how it would taste.... So we had to think how to make our own recipe from the ingredients. We were given only 15 minutes to prepare salad or juice or any other to be ready to cook. Four judges from the dietations and hyatt chefs were judging during and after the competition. They judged on the taste, decoration and quality of the recipe.

She is a special kid

Next year I'll be teaching and assisting a five year old albino girl, class kindergarten. Few days ago, on the 9th November, I had a School Based Team (SBT) meeting with 3 psychologists, my headmistress, 3 class teachers, parents and Ana (an Albino girl) at my school. We planned on how to assist this girl on her education inclusively and the area that need modification for her to learn comfortably with her situation.

The Albino Ana has no pigments, her skin is white, her eyes are red and her hair is really tinted. This girl easily get burned because the pigments in her skin are responsible for protecting her against sun rays. We came out with a modification setting of the classroom because of her skin problems. According the doctor's report, she needs to use sunblock cream with spf of 50 to 80. Apart from that, she has problem with her vision that is long sightedness. Ana is also an active girl and easily get anger if her need is not fulfilled. I hope I can cope with Ana's behaviour soon

Dates cake for sunday tea.

I have eggs, dates, sugar, margerine, condensed milk, flour...yes perfect. My mood this Sunday is very fine and I have this feeling to bake one cake. I have been busy for a couple of weeks with school works and help my children revise for their exams. Alhamdulillah no more headache...uhhh. I've never bake a cake made with dates before ...and the outcome was ...mmm yummy, soft and tasty. I didn't expect my kids love this simple cake...soon I'll make one again

All.. the way from Japan

Japanese dolls with kimono for my daughters and a warrior statue..they're really cute. These are the gifts from my hubby for Iffah, Izzat & Naqib. He just returned home after having a meeting in Tokyo for 5 days. All are cost expensive there...even a cup of coffee cost about Br$10+. Each of these dolls is about Br$100+...amazing....but no where to find so these dolls are the cheapest that my hubby could buy for beloved children....

A visit with my students

Yesterday morning, I had organised and made a visit to galleries at the Islamic Propagation Centre (Pusat Dakwah Islamiah) with 5 teachers and year 2 students. The purpose of the visit was to increase students' knowledge regarding negative issues, religion, activities of the centre and to create awareness among them on the importance of maintaining peace and harmony of our country. 80 students were going and they really enjoyed the visit. We were guided by 5 officers all the way to the galleries.The centre also provided us with quizes and gifts. Thanks to the centre's staffs.
