They call these crackers 'Emping Belinjo or melinjo '..but in Brunei we call these 'ta-ngang'. These crackers are made from belinjo seeds. They are the small oval fruits of gnemon tree, which are both red and green, contain a seed which is used to make tentalising, deep fried crisps. I wonder how they make this belinjo crackers....My hubby bought these from Surabaya and each cost of about Br$4.00. They comes from different taste... sweet, sweet with chilli and original. But I still like the original belinjo.
