It was teacher's day few hours ago....Happy belated teachers day to all teachers in Brunei. Actually the teacher's day fall every year on 23rd september since this year it was felt during Syawal therefore it was postponed to 5th November. This year theme is "Guru berkualiti teras kecemerlangan pendidikan' which means Quality Teachers are the heart of Excellent Education.
I invited my family to my house for dinner. I cooked and served them special 'soto' ( noodles beef soup) just now to celebrate the teacher's but ..since I was too excited and busy with my siblings and nieces, I forgot to take some snaps of my special 'soto'. I baked cheese cake too for my sisters and cupcakes for kids. This is my first trial to make cupcakes. I make cheese cream to decorate the top of the cake and sprinkled them with coloring sprinkles. The decoration looked not really nice but I'm happy my kids loved it...and they want me to make another cupcakes again...emmm so I have to googled the utube to find the best cupcake butter cream recipe....
Happy teacher's day for you my 2nd sister Haslinah and to my 6th sister.....

Salam!Looks like everybody had a great time.By the way LIz, I don't have a garden, It's my MIL's garden, maintained by a gardener, but she only have roses.It's the start of the cold season here, so roses are not blooming.The hibiscus pics was taken in Iqbal Park, where the MInar-e Pakistan is.Our house is just behind the park, so usually, I and my kids take a walk around the park.You did not visit this park, when you was here?By the way, I'm from Philippines, just stayed in Malaysia for 6 years that's why I can speak Bahasa Melayu.
amina..I have heard that iqbal park..but I cant remember whether i had visited it...wow cold weather..I like it when i was there...
