All.. the way from Japan

Japanese dolls with kimono for my daughters and a warrior statue..they're really cute. These are the gifts from my hubby for Iffah, Izzat & Naqib. He just returned home after having a meeting in Tokyo for 5 days. All are cost expensive there...even a cup of coffee cost about Br$10+. Each of these dolls is about Br$100+...amazing....but no where to find so these dolls are the cheapest that my hubby could buy for beloved children....

A visit with my students

Yesterday morning, I had organised and made a visit to galleries at the Islamic Propagation Centre (Pusat Dakwah Islamiah) with 5 teachers and year 2 students. The purpose of the visit was to increase students' knowledge regarding negative issues, religion, activities of the centre and to create awareness among them on the importance of maintaining peace and harmony of our country. 80 students were going and they really enjoyed the visit. We were guided by 5 officers all the way to the galleries. The centre also provided us with quizes and gifts. Thanks to the centre's staffs.

Niah Cave (part 2)

The stairs are the way to the inside of Niah cave...I was so impressed to see inside the huge Niah cave which was pretty dark. Before we walked inside, I was interested in knowing how they constructed the hanging tall stick from the ceiling of the cave. The people climbed up the hanging stick to get the bird's nest. These are the nests for the chinese bird nest soup.

A demonstration on how the people hang the sticks using rope. Wow ..it looked easy but actually to construct it is very complicated

Niah Cave (part 1)

Friday, March the 26th I made a trip with a group of teachers to the Niah cave which is located within the district of Miri in Sarawak, Malaysia. Niah cave was once the shelter for the human life and now is home only to bats, swiftlets and other specially adafted of forms of life. It was a day long trip and a very tiring adventure...but anyway I really enjoyed doing it and love to go there again one day with my family.

I like this photo
